Miss Red Hot Competitions are currently held in Atlantic City, as well as in Jamaica, Bahamas, South Florida, Mexico, and Las Vegas. We have added unique themes, such as Miss Red Hot Country, Shadow Dancing and Wet Downs. We also host BedCheck, a Lingerie Competition, a series of redhot photogenic events for photographers and we are holding our first calendar search this year to produce a 2009 calendar.
I can not tell you how many people ask, "How did you get into this?" . . .
The story of Red Hot . . .
WINC Promotions began in South Florida as a promotional agency, offering clients the opportunity to expand their audience through highly visible national promotions. The promotions were either media driven or provided a perfect partnership for the product.
A current client, Hedonism II in Jamaica, requested an event that would entice single women to visit. I developed a Calendar Search for The Ultimate Man, now in it’s 14th year. It was in Jamaica I met Alan, a competitor and Amanda. She was the girlfriend of another competitor. We got friendly and she suggested doing events for women. I laughed, knowing how difficult twenty women would be to work with and how easy the guys were but the seed was planted. I talked to a lot of girls who made suggestions from their past pageant experiences, many negative. The final product was Miss Red Hot. Alan and Amanda talked to friends, who talked to friends and now over 600 girls are part of the redhot family. And it really became a family. Many stay in touch, we celebrate the good things and are there for each other with the bad.
And, Jason Stenhouse joined WINC Promotions last year. His financial background added a much needed element to the business. He has been instrumental in the development of new events, including Best Face Forward, the Calendar Search and the newest Shadow Dancing Event. We are thrilled to have him.
So the Red Hot family keeps growing, So did Amanda’s, who started all this. She is now married to a Soap Opera Star and just had twins.
