The story of Miss Red Hot...

I can not tell you how many people ask, “How did you get into this?” . . . Here is the short version - My agency, WINC Promotions began in South Florida as a special events and promotional agency, offering clients the opportunity to expand their audience through highly visible national promotions or attention grabbing events. A client, Hedonism II in Jamaica, requested an event that would entice single women to visit. I developed a Calendar Search for The Ultimate Man. While at the event I met Alan, a competitor and Amanda, the girlfriend of another competitor. We got friendly and they both suggested doing events for women. I was less than convinced but after talking to girls who had done other events, I saw the need. Miss Red Hot was born! Alan and Amanda talked to friends, who talked to friends and now over 2000 girls are part of the Miss Red Hot family. And it really became a family. I still talk to Alan weekly. Amanda is busy – with twins! Miss Red Hot Competitions or promotional model appearances are held in Atlantic City, as well as in Jamaica, Bahamas, South Florida, Mexico, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Las Vegas. We have added unique themes, such as Miss Red Hot Country, Shadow Dancing, a Fantasy After Dark show, Best Face Forward, a make up artist competition and BedCheck, a Lingerie Competition, Our biggest event is a yearly Calendar Search. I tell everyone that Red Hot is more like a family, but unless you meet one of the 2000 MRH girls or attend an event, you’ll never believe me. So, hope to see you at the Calendar event. Family is always welcome. Jill DeChello is the founder/owner of WINC Promotions which owns and operates Miss Red Hot. Her background includes 10 years as a Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Scandinavian World Cruises and SeaEscape, the first gaming “Cruise to Nowhere”. She was named President of GAT Marketing of Hollywood, Florida, until opening her own agency, WINC Promotions and relocating to Connecticut And, a little known secret . . . WINC stands for “Women IN Control”. And we are!
